WELL HELLO BLOGGA!

I've ditched this blog for ages! nonetheless, i will never ever abandon this blog, permanently. so the first i did when i entered blogger is to check when was my last post! hahaha dayyum, september 2012! now that was way way back. way back to the extent that i was still in singapore... uhmm packing at that time and having thousands of feelings in contemplating what to expect for UK. well now i am actually already here, in fact for 3 months plus already! I've been wanting to blog. seriously. i just really couldn't find the time. now i've no ending to what i want to blog. i wanna blog on everything. i wanna keep all the memories of UK here. so here goes the long post. i shall just bla bla bla on whatever important stuffs since september 2012. anyhow, i don't actually know if people-who-read-blog actually still exist or even, people-who-blogs.

I had 2 farewell gatherings over at my crib on the week of my departure. primary clique and secondary clique. my darlings. i had a blast. and all i can think of was that i will miss them dearly when i'm in UK. i have the longest friendship with my primary clique. i am always proud to introduce them as my primary clique. i am thankful to have them. we are close and so comfortable with each other. they were so sweet like candy for surprising me with lots of farewell gifts. honestly, i did not expect any gifts. what? farewell need gifts? so thoughtful of them to have bought me chocolates, tumbler with motivational quotes, a coat, a jacket, 2 ear muffs and a bulletin board with farewell notes. my secondary clique are awesome too. super love the scrapbook they made for me. so touched that i had to bring it over to UK, handcarry! and they got me a board and some other stuffs as well! i really had a blast during these farewell gatherings. major love. and now as i'm typing, i really miss them so much! :'(

21st September 2012. that was the date of my departure. also on this day, i decided to wear the hijab insyaAllah it will be permanent. lugged my super overweight luggages to the airport. i was so touched that a lot of relatives, primary clique and secondary clique were all at the airport to send me off. honestly, i wasn't looking forward to saying goodbye. i am not good at it! but i keep telling myself i must not cry. i do not want the whole thing to be so sad. so i was smiling and hugging and taking pictures with them all. some were just so touching and lovely. like, their reactions were all totally unexpected. i realised i really have lovely uncles and aunts. so i was about to pass my passport to the officer when my brother, and i must say this, my elder brother, came up and so ok we salam and what shocked me is he hugged me. and what's even more shocking was that he started crying. i actually asked him, why u cry??!! and he was like then you are going away! awwww....i failed as the next second i realised i was crying a river! oh dear. because he is actually the last person i expect to cry for me and being so emotional and all. dooood i expect my lil bro. but i know, lil bro was just holding on. it was hard to say goodbye and depart. that moment, i was like this is fo'real! i am really going away! i was sad and was still tearing at times on the airplane thinking about the farewell at the airport and elder brother crying for me. the hugs from both my brother were the best hug. it was so tight and so emotional. and i am assured that my elder brother actually loves me despite we not being so close and he being a bitch when i was still in singpaore. LOL!

Arrived london on the 22nd september 2012. felt good to be back in london. what more, i still have my parents with me! i couldnt imagine departing with them at the airport man! but having them around with me for the last few days always got me thinking about the moment when we are gonna say goodbye and that they will then head back to singapore, leaving me here. stayed at a really class hotel. so expensive though. brought them tour london. the next day, coached to leicester, my hometown for the next few years. lived in ibis hotel while preparing for me to be a student in the uni and moving into my accommodation.

1st October 2012. first day of school. in a uni. in a UK uni! october, november december passed by. uni has been a really huge step in education! it's really tough and challenging. so unlike poly. main highlights that i could remember right now are, no cute guys in my tutorial class gives the advantage of focus, lecutrers' having thick ang moh accent posed quite a challenge for me, tutorials are so focused and discussive and i am actually still in my comfort shell not wanting to be out, surprisingly i joined mooting competition and currently awaiting result if my group manage to go to the third round, culture here is all about drinking clubbing partying which makes me feel out of place, the weather is oh so cold but i love it and never at any time did i miss the singapore hot humid weather.

In november 2012, i got surprise visitors from tik, dedek and abang! went to london with them for 1 of the weekend. was so happy to see abang again. haha made me refresh on his emotional moment at the airport.

In december 2012, ain came! and she was so awesome to bring me to france and some parts in UK. PARIS!!!!!! omg, finally i went to paris! it has been my dream to see the eiffel tower. the trip was really great!

Went to london again on 1st january 2013 to spend the new year there with germaine. yay we went to the winter wonderland!

Oh and it finally snowed in leicester! it has also been my dream to see touch taste real snow! did it. 13 january 2012 was the date! i was so excited likka kid.

So examinations started last week. Constituional law 20%, tort law non-assessed essay, civil justice system exam 100%, legal skills 100% and now, contract law non-assessed 24 hour take home exam, which i actually just done with it and decided to finally blog. hahaha.

So, since my departure, i have been so independent.. everyone ought to be proud of me. i do agree i was a pampered child and so dependent on my maid back in singapore. well hello, now i cook my meals ok! see, people must be pround of me!

Alhamdullillah, i am so thankful for all these blessings!

Looking forward for tomorrow! 3 of tp friends coming to leicester for the weekend! yayay!

I shall make a point to blog very often.
