The occassion was chinese new year. Had our Potluck Dinner over at Carmen's flat. She is so sweet to have messaged me with regards to my food requirements. So thoughtful of her. What more, considering our proximity. After school, head back and started preparing for my contribution. Decided to make jemput-jemput and pisang goreng. To be honest, i was really scared to fry. Hahaha sucha noobie. I used my pot. Like whatever. Made jemput-jemput and I am satisfied with it. I should make it again. Then i made pisang goreng. Got the recipe off youtube. Turns out pretty good. Satisfied with it and i should make it again. Hehe. This noobie ought to be praised.
Taxi over to Opal. Those who prepared food restrictively, I really appreciate it. So thoughtful. Yummy food. I was full and satisfied. Then they moved on to drinking and gambling which is obviously not fun for me. At about 11pm, moved our gathering over to the common room. Gambling forever. Oh well, I learnt how to play mahjong.
After hours and hours of waiting, SY and me followed SK over to her room for a movie. Totally should have thought of this better idea much earlier. I couldn't bear to watch it because my eyes were getting heavy. It was freakin 4-ish am! Only reached back to me room at 5.35am. Showered and only get to bed at 6am. Wanted a really good sleep so I pulled down my blinds and didn't set the alarm. Ended up waking at 1.30pm just now. As much as I hate waking up late because it's such a waste of the day, I really thought I should have an uninterrupted sleep. I believe I have never woken up that late before since I came here. Geez.
Planned to go to Morrisons to get oil but the snow made me change my mind. Studied the whole day just for 1 chapter of Contract. Sigh. My progress is really unbelievably slow.
