tell me bout it

So on the 25th, after we submitted our contract take home paper, we headed to the city to fetch 3 TP friends from Southampton. their journey here took about 5 hours by coach! we were glad to host their weekend getaway here in Leicester. from baking cupcakes and muffins and shopping at the city centre. jas was my roomie!

Yesterday marked the first day into semester 2. it kicked off slowly for me as i only had an hour lecture, 5pm-6pm, on that day. furthermore, my tutorials this week will only be on thursday. hence i am procrastinating on doing the tutorials. after the winter break, i have to get back to the study mode. i say, i will study consistently this semester and anticipating the year end exams. i regretted not doing so for semester 1.

Had a lot of lectures today. 4 lectures in total. i really appreciate great lecturers who show interest in what they are lecturing and i am not liking lecturers who doesn't show interest in what they are doing and hence result in them giving lectures in a monotone manner.

Oh and good news, i am most prolly gonna spend the easter break over at Italy with the other year 1 singaporeans. to be honest, i was really scared to whatsapp mom for permission. anyhow i had to no matter what. surprisingly, mom was like "ok you go lah..." sizzly mom, i love you. i am loving this independent life here rather than the controlled life back in singapore. i would inform her of anything and she would give the green light because of trust, as been told. but then, when i put much thought into going italy, for more than a week, during the easter break, anticipating the year end exams afterwhich, it worries me. oh and ofcourse, the cash!

I am excited for tomorrow. gonna go house viewing. we are looking into several houses tomorrow. looking forward to possible houses that we could take up. hopefully our options are great.
